How Can I Join The BA Executive Club?

If you are looking to collect Avios points you will need an Avios account to be able to transfer them to and make redemptions. The most popular way of doing so in the UK is probably with British Airways (although you can also do so with Aer Lingus, Vueling & Iberia Plus too.) In this post, we are going to take a look at how to join the BA Executive Club and the benefits of doing so.

What are the Benefits of joining The BA Executive Club?

The Executive Club is British Airways’ frequent flyer membership program. By joining you’ll be able to collect Avios both from British Airways and Oneworld flights, in addition to this, you’ll be able to transfer Avios points into your BA account either from your Avios earning credit card or Membership Reward earning American Express.

Joining The BA Executive Club also allows you to collect Avios from the BA eStore and other partners, transferring cashback from TopCashback into Avios & opportunities to use your Avios on Hotels or to convert to Nectar points… to name a few examples!

Whilst you can use Avios for hotels… you’ll get much better value using them on flights or converting to Nectar.

By joining you can also collect tier points towards higher elite tiers which come with increased benefits e.g. business class check-in, lounge access and priority number etc. When you first join you start as a ‘Blue’ member which, in truth, has only a few benefits mainly the ability to collect Avios, Tier Points & saving your seat preferences.
