FREE Nectar Points For Just Opening The App!

This morning a slightly bizarre promotion appeared in the Nectar App to grab some free Nectar Points. If you don’t see it make sure you are on the latest version of the Nectar App (go into your app store and check.) I’ve been told it’s for BOTH iOS and Android users.

How do I get my free Nectar Points?

If you have it (and I believe a fair share of people will.) It will show the banner – ‘Grab a juicy points boost today.’

If you click on it it will take you to a message about how the average shopper gets 1,250 Nectar Points by saving Sainsbury’s offers on the app before they buy. Click on Get your points back.

On this next screen, tap Get your boost. It will then take you to another screen. Here you need to tap once more and it will tell you how many Nectar points you’ve been awarded. I was awarded 400 points which is worth 640 Avios if you swap your Avios to Nectar points.

How do I swap my points for Avios?
