British Airways American Express

You will receive 1000 Avios when the supplementary card is approved, plus an additional 1000 if your supplementary card spends £300 in the first three months. This would give you a total of 2000 points.

British Airways Premium Plus American Express

When does the offer for up to 6000 points run to?

The offer runs until 31st July. As we mentioned earlier if you haven’t already added a supplementary cardholder to your account now is an as good time as ever!

Can I get the bonus if I’m taking out a card now?

Yes, as long as your card arrives before the 31st July so you can set it up and add a supplementary cardholder (it should arrive long before this.) Is it worth doing?

Absolutely, particularly if you have the offer for 6,000 points from which you should be able to get at least £60 worth of flights if you use our 1p valuation. Alternatively, you could exchange 6000 Avios for £48 worth of Nectar points and have a spend up at Sainsbury’s. Either way, it’s easy money!
