Do I Need To Wear A Face Mask When Flying With BA?

With so many different COVID-related regulations and rules depending on your destination it can be confusing to know whether you are required to wear a face mask when flying with BA. Luckily BA has released a list of routes where it is required to wear a face mask on board or in the terminal building.

Where do I still need to wear a face mask when flying with BA?

As you can see the vast majority of destinations still require a face mask onboard however over the coming months we should see this decrease as countries adjust to the new ‘normal’.

What about other Airlines?

Each Airline has set its own policy regarding when masks are or are not required and does differ from BA. We would recommend checking with whichever Airline you are flying with for their latest guidance.

Am I required to wear a face mask at the airport before I fly?

If you are in the UK (excluding Scotland) you are no longer required by law to wear a face mask at the airport. When boarding your plane if your destination requires it you will be asked to put on a face mask before boarding the plane.
