British Airways Launching Jersey & Gibraltar flights from London City Airport

British Airways are launching Jersey & Gibraltar flights from London City Airport. Their short-haul regional subsidiary BA CityFlyer will be flying the routes starting this summer.

When will the route’s launch?

From the 25th June 2021 you will be able to fly to Jersey & Gibraltar from London City Airport. Both services will run twice weekly on a Monday & Friday using BA CityFlyer’s Embraer E190 aircraft. The schedule will be…

Jersey flights from London City Airport

BA3283 departing London City (LCY) at 9:45 a.m & arriving in Jersey (JER) at 10:50 a.m.
BA3284 departing Jersey (JER) at 11:25 a.m & arriving in London City (LCY) at 12:30 p.m.

There are some variations to the timings in August.

Gibraltar flights from London City Airport

BA3289 departing London City (LCY) at 1:15 p.m & arriving in Gibraltar (GIB) at 5:10 p.m.
BA3290 departing Gibraltar (GIB) at 5:55 p.m & arriving in London City (LCY) at 7:50 p.m.

Jersey & Gibraltar are two of the most likely destinations to be open in some form to tourists this summer. With Gibraltar having completed its vaccine rollout and Jersey being in the Common Travel Area for the UK availability will soon go.

How much will it cost?

Cash

Cash fares start from £42 to Jersey and £43 to Gibraltar each way.

Jersey will cost 9,500 Avios & £35 return in economy and 17,000 Avios & £50 return in Business Class off-peak.

Gibraltar will cost 14,500 Avios & £35 return in economy and 27,000 Avios & £50 return in Business Class off-peak.

Remember…

As per normal BA CityFlyer features 2×2 seating in Business Class and Economy. There is no blocked middle seat nor is there a business class lounge at London City Airport.
