BA Doubles The Amount Of Avios Seats Available On EVERY Flight!

If you struggle to find Avios availability on busy routes or getting enough Avios seats for the whole family you are in for a great surprise! BA has just announced they are DOUBLING the amount of Avios seats available on every flight. That means double the chance to fly Business Class to the Maldives as a couple with Avios or the opportunity for a family of 4 to fly Business Class to New York with Avios… to name a few examples!

The amount of Avios seats available on every flight

At the moment (before these changes) the amount of Avios seats GUARANTEED on each flight is as follows…

Euro Traveller (Short Haul Economy) – 4 seats per flight
Club Europe (Short Haul Business) – 2 seats per flight
World Traveller (Long Haul Economy) – 4 seats per flight
Word Traveller Plus (Long Haul Premium Economy) – 0 seats per flight
Club World (Long Haul Business) – 2 seats per flight
First (Long Haul First) – 0 seats per flight

How many Avios seats will be available with this change?

From the 28th July 2021 you will see…

Note this doesn’t mean you will see the full amount, the existing half is likely to have been booked when released. Where you will notice the full amount available is when new flights are available for booking, so for midnight tonight flights will be available for 18th May 2022. Conclusion

It’s likely a lot of these extra seats, particularly on high-demand routes, have already gone as BA started loading them yesterday. BUT in the future when new flights are added you will now have a much better chance of getting the seats you want whether you’re a single traveller, couple or family!
