Each £1 spent on the card will give you one membership reward point. Travel bookings made through the American Express Travel website will give you two membership reward points per £1.

How do I sign up for my Amex Platinum Card benefits?

The £100 Harvey Nichols credit and £300 Dining credit are Amex offers that need to be saved to your card. To do this you need to visit the American Express website or app, go to your Platinum account page, find the offer, and click ‘Save to Card’. If they aren’t there when you first receive your card give it a few days to load your offers otherwise contact Amex support by chat or phone.

If you applied for your card before April 2019, you are already enrolled and no action is required. After this, if you ticked the box when applying saying you wanted the free insurance benefits the travel/care hire insurance will cover you from card approval.
