Harrods £100 Freebie for Amex Platinum Cardholders

American Express has recently launched yet another £100 freebie for Amex Platinum Cardholders! These offers/freebies are being offered due to the perceived lack of benefits due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and lack of travel options (which most people use the card for.)

How do I know if I’ve got the offer?

Over the past few days, cardholders have either received notification in the post about the offer or via email. If you have not received either get in contact with American Express to confirm your eligibility.

What can I use the £100 freebie on?

As with the previous offers you don’t get ‘£100 cash’ but a 100% rebate on an unlimited amount of purchases up to £100. This offer is exclusive to the Harrod stores mentioned below. Just to be clear, it’s up to £100 cumulative over the Harrod stores listed below NOT £100 at each store. This will appear as a statement credit back on your spend. What are the restrictions?

The offer is valid from 2 November to 30 November 2020.

The offer will not be available in-store from 5 November due to recent changes in government guidelines but can still be enjoyed online.

As mentioned earlier the only locations eligible are the ones above. The Harrods Outlet and airport concessions are not included in the reward.

Do I get it automatically?

Yes, if you are eligible for the offer you are auto-enrolled. There is no need to save the offer to your card like you needed to for previous offers.

Are my supplementary cardholders eligible?

Unfortunately not. This offer is just for the primary cardholders.

Will new applicants be eligible?

It’s very unlikely, unfortunately.
