Virgin Atlantic has just launched a Reward Flight Sale on flights to the USA. Until the 24th of July, you can get 30% off flights to the USA for travel before the 30th of September 2023. The offer is valid on all cabins BUT the 30% off only applies to the points cost, the full ‘taxes & fees’ will still be charged.

The ‘taxes & fees’ vary slightly depending on the route etc but are around £1,000 in Upper Class, £500 in Premium, and £300 in Economy.

These discounts can be combined with a Virgin Atlantic credit card 2-4-1 voucher but can’t be used in combination with a Gold reward (opens any seat for double points if you are Gold) or ‘Points Plus Money.’
Conclusion
If you are looking to book reward flights to the USA Virgin’s Reward Flight Sale is as good as it gets in terms of points cost. Unfortunately, the 30% discount doesn’t apply to the ‘taxes & fees’ charged but you should still be able to pick up a good deal.
