Can You Transfer Eurostar Points To Someone Else?
If you’re looking to make a booking as a couple, friends, or family you might be wondering if you can transfer Eurostar points to someone else? After all, individually you may not have enough for your trip but when combined with others you might. Thankfully Eurostar is incredibly flexible and allows you to transfer Eurostar points to ANYONE who is in Club Eurostar. In this post, we are going to take a look at the rules regarding transfers and how you can make a transfer yourself.
So what are the rules if you want to transfer Eurostar Points to Someone Else?
The only rule is that the person you want to transfer to needs to have a Club Eurostar account (of course!) beyond this there are just some limits of the number of points you can send/receive and on the number of different people you send them to…
- You can share a maximum of 3,000 points in one go.
- You can share a maximum of 6,000 points in each calendar year.
- You can share a maximum of 3,000 points with one member in each calendar year.
- You can share points with a maximum of four people in each calendar year.
- You can receive a maximum of 3,000 points in each calendar year.
- Points have to be shared in multiples of 100.
The points shared, quite understandably, do not count towards the recipient’s club level.
How do I transfer Eurostar Points to someone else?
Sign in to the Eurostar website here – https://accounts.eurostar.com/uk-en/overview. Once logged in on the left-hand side under your Club Eurostar points you’ll see a small menu with a link called Share points. Click it and it will open a small pop-up where you can enter the recipients Club Eurostar number and how many points you want to send them.
Conclusion
The ability to share Eurostar points with anyone in the programme is very useful when planning trips with other people. And whilst not particularly high the limits should be enough to cover the usage of the average user. Have you ever transferred your Eurostar points to someone else? What did you think of the rules/process?

Hello, this is very helpful, thanks! I’m approaching my points expiry and wondering if it’s possible to transfer my points to another account and then transfer them back to me after the expiry date. Any thoughts?

Yes you can 🙂

Is points transfer to another member instantaneous? Can the receiving member use the points immediately, or is there a delay inherent in the transfer process?
(Compare with AmEx to Eurostar points transfer, which can take up to 5 days.)
