Fly With Virgin Atlantic To Dubai From October

Virgin Atlantic has announced that it is returning to Dubai! From the 28th of October, there will be four flights per week, departing Heathrow on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. This is described as a seasonal service which suggests it will run from October to March.

What Are The Full Flight Details?

From the 28th of October…

There will be four flights a week departing Heathrow on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The return is the following day on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday.

The outbound flight departs Heathrow T3 at 17:35 and land in Dubai at the ungodly hour of 4:40am. It’s a shame Virgin couldn’t push the flight back another 4/5 hours.

The return flight departs Dubai at 13:00 and lands at Heathrow at 17:05pm. Good timings for a family and much better than the outbound.

When Can I Book Virgin Atlantic Tickets To Dubai?

Seats for cash and points will become bookable from the 7th of June. The seats should appear from around 5am in the morning as Virgin uses Delta’s systems which run on New York time.

Will planes have the new Upper Class (Business Class)?

Unfortunately, the flights are scheduled to be flown by a Boeing 787-9. This has the old-style Upper Class seat which isn’t a patch on the newer BA Club Suite.

More options to a popular destination are obviously a good thing but it’s a bit of shame that the flights don’t start at the beginning of October half-term. Though it does give you another option for a business class return seat with points if you’ve only managed to secure one-way currently. If you are interested don’t forget you can’t book yet!
