How To Browse Marriott Hotels By Points Cost

If you are speculatively browsing for hotels to stay with your Marriott Bonvoy Points it can be a frustrating experience when you can’t find any in your budget. Thankfully there is a way you can browse Marriott hotels by points cost ensuring you find somewhere great to stay in budget!

How do I know how many points each Category is?

Check out Marriott’s Redemption Chart here – https://www.marriott.com/loyalty/pointsGridPopUp.mi

This will give you the off-peak, standard and peak cost in points for each hotel category. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing in advance what dates are off-peak, standard or peak. You will need to speculatively search for a date after you’ve found a hotel you like.

By using this information you can then work out what category hotel you want to search for you below.

So how do I browse Marriott Hotel Categories?

If you follow this link – https://www.marriott.com/hotel-search.mi – it will take you to Marriott’s Hotel Directory.

1. Scroll down until you see the filter button, select it

2) Click Marriott Bonvoy Category and select which Category hotel you wish to search for (you can select multiple) and then click apply

3) Select which continent/country you wish to browse. You can either view all hotels of that category in that continent/country or narrow your search further by choosing a country/state.

4) To find out the rates for your particular date click view rates on the hotel that you like

5) On this next screen click edit on the top right

6) Select your dates (either specific dates or amount of nights in which month,) the amount of rooms/guests and tick the box that says ‘Use Points / Certificates’. Click View Rates and this will update.

7) I like to use the flexible dates features so I can see when would be the cheapest time to go away. In this case going on the 11th July 2021 would save up to 7,500 points!
