Premier Inn Wembley – Cheap New Years Eve Hotel
Usually me and my partner are very organised when it comes to arranging our trips, particularly when it comes to price sensitive trips like New Years Eve! However in November we realised we hadn’t changed over one of our points bookings over to a cash rate for somewhere else. (We wanted to use our points for a 2020 trip instead!) Cue a frantic search online for a reasonably cheap new years eve hotel!
Cheap New Years Eve Hotel Located!
My partner found the Premier Inn Wembley Stadium at £81 on the Premier Inn website. Built in 2018 the rooms looked modern and clean compared to the more dated Wembley Park Premier Inn. Thanks to the metropolitan line the trip from Wembley Park Underground station to central London can be done in around 15 minutes. We worked it out to be about 35 minutes from Victoria Train Station (the closest station to our Fireworks entrance) to the door of the Premier Inn Wembley Stadium! Result! Cheap new years eve hotel secured!
Location
As you may guess by the hotels name it’s situated opposite Wembley Stadium. It’s about a 10 minute walk from Wembley Park Underground station. Follow directions for the SSE Arena and as you walk past the Arena you will see the Premier Inn straight ahead. You’ll pass some restaurants, coffee shops and the London Designer Outlet on the way. It’s obviously very well located if you are staying for an event at the SSE arena or Wembley Stadium!

As we walked into the reception area we noticed they have machines where you can complete check in yourself or to the right there is a manned reception desk. As we wanted to pay cash for our stay we went to the reception desk and a friendly member of staff checked us in within minutes.
The Room
As we secured the last room available at the hotel we were automatically allocated a disabled access room on the 8th floor. As you walk into the room you’ll see the bathroom on the left side and on the right you’ll see a mirror, hairdryer and a small space to store clothes.
In the main space of the room you have the bed on the left side (perfectly comfortable) with bedside tables and plugs/USB charging sockets. In the corner is an armchair. On the right you have the TV, tea/coffee facilities and desk with chair.
The Bathroom
The bathroom appeared suitable equipped for disabled access and very spacious. There was non removable toiletries. We didn’t use the shower in the morning as we choose to have time in bed to shower when we were home.
Conclusion
We enjoyed our stay at the Premier Inn London Wembley Stadium. The service was great, rooms were modern and the location was pretty good too. Combine that with getting a room for £81 in November for New Years Eve… we were very happy! Remember if cash rates get high you can often use points instead. This is frequently great value at peak times such as New Years!
