I Need X Amount Of BA Tier Points

Are looking for a certain amount of BA Tier Points to keep your status intact for another year? Or you are close to reaching British Airways Bronze, Silver or Gold status and just need a few more tier points? This guide looks at the easiest way to get the BA Tier Points you need for your status!

How do I get the BA Tier Points I Need?

The easiest way to do this is by booking a weekend break on a British Airways route that earns 160 BA Tier Points in Club Europe. This is double the normal amount of BA Tier Points you’d get for a return in Club Europe. Whilst it’s possible to make multiple 80 tier points to get status it’s quicker and often cheaper (time you factor in a stay too!) to stick to 160 BA Tier Points routes.

Don’t forget that as well as earning the required number of tier points for your status level you need to have done the following…

For Bronze

Two segments (one return) on British Airways/Iberia with a cash ticket.

For Silver/Gold

Four segments (two returns) on British Airways/Iberia with a cash ticket.

What 160 BA Tier Points routes are there are how much do they cost?

The prices in brackets is the lowest cost return ticket on a 2 night/3 day trip for one person found by using BA’s Low Fare Finder. All are based on starting your journey in London.
