How Do I Claim Missing Avios?

If you think you’ve taken a flight where the Avios points weren’t correctly awarded you can claim missing Avios by filling in a form on BA’s website. You can also claim missing Avios where you weren’t a member of BA’s Executive Club at the time of flying… read on to find out how!

Am I Eligible To Claim Missing Avios?

BA Flights

If you are/were a member of BA’s Executive Club at the time of flying you have up to 6 months after your flight date to claim. If you weren’t a member at the time of flying you would need to join BA’s Executive Club. You can then claim for any flights up to 3 months prior to you joining BA’s Executive Club.

Partner Flights

You must be a member of BA’s Executive Club at the time of flying to claim. If you weren’t a member, you are out of luck… sorry! You have up to 6 months after your flight date to claim. (Don’t forget the earning rate is different on partner flights!)

How Do I Claim Missing Avios?

BA Flights

If you booked with BA & have a BA prefixed flight number you simply need to fill in a simple form to claim here – https://www.britishairways.com/travel/retro/execclub/_gf/en_gb?

You will need your ticket number (which you will be able to find in your BA booking confirmation email.) You need to wait at least 3 days from your date of travel before submitting a claim

Partner Flights

For partner flights you will need fill in the form here to claim – https://www.britishairways.com/travel/retropartners/execclub/_gf/en_gb

This is a little more extensive than the BA claim form and you will need details such as Airline, Flight Number, Departure/Destination Airport, Dates, Ticket Number & your Travel Class to claim! You should be able to find all this information on your booking confirmation email… so don’t worry! You need to wait at least 7 days from your date of travel before submitting a claim
