National Theatre at Home Subscription Free For Amex Cardholders

One of the lesser-known benefits of holding an American Express card is their partnership with the National Theatre allowing presale access and backstage tours. Due to not being able to attend the theatre at the moment due to COVID restrictions, they are currently offering a free one month National Theatre at home subscription for Amex Card Holders.

What is the National Theatre at home subscription?

Think Netflix… but for the theatre! The National Theatre at home subscription allows you to watch National Theatre Live recordings, filmed in high definition for cinema & plays from the National Theatre Archive.

How do I get my Free One Month National Theatre at Home Subscription?

Simply click on the link here – https://www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/amex/cardmember-benefits – Once the page is loaded scroll down to the current cardmember offer which should be National Theatre at Home. A little below that you should see the text ‘Click here to redeem this offer.’

If you click on it, it will take you to another page asking you for the first four digits of your American Express card. Once you’ve entered these it will redirect you to a little page that has a button ‘Click here to redeem this promotion.’ Once you click it, it will take you to a page to enter your information and sign-up! You should see at the promotion come off your balance due for the first month.

What’s the catch?

Unfortunately, you only get one month for free. Your subscription will renew automatically (unless you cancel it) and you will be charged as follows:

• £8.32/month which is automatically billed after your first free month.

If you do not wish to renew, you must cancel the subscription in your account settings ideally at least 24 hours before the next payment is due.

There isn’t currently an end date to this offer but as lockdown eases I would imagine it will change back to their normal offering.
