Great Sign-Up Bonus On The Amazon Business American Express Card

After following through to Amazon from Amex for the application we noticed that the card is currently offering a £100 statement credit for £1,000 spent within 3 months. Am I eligible for the sign-up bonus?

Unlike other cards issued by American Express, there appears to be no restriction as to who is entitled to the sign-up bonus. So if you have a BA Amex, Platinum Card, or indeed any other Amex card you should be good to go! The T&Cs do seem to suggest that different welcome bonuses may be offered to different people so please do report back if you are offered something different!

How do I get the £100 statement credit?

You need to spend £1,000 in 3 months. That means you need to be able to put £333.33 a month or £83.33 a week on your card to meet the sign-up bonus. If you aren’t familiar with statement credits it will appear on your account like a payment would. E.g. If you had a £1,000 balance your new balance would be £900.

Will I be eligible to get the card?

There is no minimum income requirement for the card. As long as you are a UK resident that is 18+ with a small business or as a sole trader with no history of bad credit you have a good chance of being accepted! If you don’t already have an Amazon.co.uk account you will be required to create one before applying.

Can my partner, family member or friend get one too?

Of course! There are NO limits to how many people in your household can have a card. There is no referral bonuses on the Amazon Business cards but they will be entitled to the welcome bonus.
