Get up to £50 Amex Cashback with PayPal

American Express have recently launched a new cashback offer which will allow you to get up to £50 Amex Cashback with PayPal. There are two versions of the offer depending on if you have a personal or business card. It’s basically like free money if you have the offer so make sure you take advantage!

What are the two Amex Cashback with PayPal offers?

The first offer that appears on personal cards (we’ve seen it on the BA Premium, Platinum Card & Gold Card) is £15 cashback on a £70 PayPal payment. The second offer which appears on business cards (we’ve seen it on the Amazon Business Card & Gold Business Card) is £50 cashback on a £250 PayPal spend.

Both expire on the 4th March but are limited to the number of registrations so make sure you save the offer!

It also APPEARS you can send money to a friend using your PayPal account funded by the card you have the offer saved on to trigger the cashback.

I don’t have a PayPal account can I still take advantage of the Amex Cashback with PayPal offers?

Yes! It’s quite common that when there is a pay with PayPal button that people think you need a PayPal account… but you don’t! You can just enter your card details directly and purchase.

Key things to remember about the Amex Cashback with PayPal offer…

You need to have a UK PayPal account with any goods being shipped to a UK address. Payments also need to be made in GBP.

The transaction needs to be made in one go. So a minimum of £70 or £250 depending on which offer you have.

Remember…goods purchased via PayPal do not qualify for Section 75 cover (although if you are paying via Business Card you don’t have this protection anyway.) PayPal does have it’s own ‘buyer protection’ scheme but of course it isn’t as good as Section 75 cover!
