Can I transfer Hyatt points to another account?
Providing you meet the following criteria/limitations you can transfer points…
Both Hyatt accounts need to be active and in good standing
You can only transfer (give/receive) Hyatt points once every 30 days. This means one transaction per 30 days regardless of if you are receiving or sending.
You can only transfer points to another member “in order to have a sufficient number of points to redeem a particular award”
Whilst the last point is mentioned on the terms & conditions on the form you need to fill out in practice it doesn’t seem to be enforced. There certainly isn’t any mechanism to check this on the form.
How Do I Transfer Hyatt Points To Another Account?
You will need to fill in the Point Combining Request form which you can access here – https://world.hyatt.com/content/dam/HGP/HyattFinalImages/world-of-hyatt/Point_Combining_RequestForm_En.pdf
As this form requires both members’ signatures you’ll need to print it out to fill it in. The first step is to fill in information regarding both members involved in the transfer. Underneath this is a statement for the person sending the points to fill in. After this you will need the signature of both members, if one party isn’t local to you, you would need to scan & email the form for them to finish.
Once you have all the required information the easiest way to return the form is by scanning it onto your PC and emailing it to – worldofhyatt@hyatt.com. Alternatively, you can return the form by snail mail to – World of Hyatt Customer Service P.O. Box 27089 Omaha, NE 68127-0089 USA
