NEW! £50 Hilton Cashback Offer Launched On Amex Cards

Amex has just recently launched £50 Hilton Cashback offer on some of their cards. You can get £50 back on £200+ spent on select European Hilton hotels. If you are targeted you will find the offer under your offers page in the App or on the website. Make sure you check all your cards as you might find it appears on one but not others.

How do I get the £50 Hilton Cashback off my next stay?

First of all, you need to register for the offer on your American Express card in the app or on the website. Once registered you need to spend £200 at a participating Hilton hotel by the 1st of July. The rules confirm that cumulative spending counts so this doesn’t need to be in one transaction.

Existing bookings are covered (as long as you haven’t paid already!) there is no need to rebook.

Hilton currently has an offer running until the 1st of May called ‘Points Plus.’ With it, you will receive 2,000 bonus Hilton points on all stays. In addition to this, you will also earn an additional 500 bonus Hilton Honors points if you select a ‘Digital Key’ via the Hilton smartphone app. You can still collect a physical card from reception.

If you booked a hotel for £200 you’d receive £50 cashback under the cashback offer and as a Diamond member, you’d receive 4,900 base points, in addition to this you’d receive 2,000 bonus points for staying and an additional 500 points for choose a digital key for a total of 7,400 points which we’d value at £37 (see how to value your own points here.) This combined with the £50 cashback equals an impressive 43.5% rebate on your spending!

Conclusion

Consider whether the £50 Hilton cashback means it makes sense to move an existing stay to Hilton, particularly with the addition of the bonus points if you stay before the 1st of May.
