Keep Your Hilton Elite Status From Just ONE Stay

Hilton has started to roll out an excellent promotion if your Silver/Gold/Diamond status was going to expire in 2023. Officially called the ‘Tier Last Call 2023 Promotion’ it allows you to keep your 2022 Hilton elite status (Diamond/Gold/Silver) for minimal effort.

How does the promotion work?

If targetted (check your emails or under the ‘My Offers‘ page on the Hilton website) you will be able to keep your Elite status for minimal effort (depending on which Elite status/offer you have.)

If you were a Hilton Diamond member in 2022 (and didn’t qualify for 2023) you need to complete one, two or three stays (depending on what version of the offer you recieved) before 31st March 2023 to keep your Hilton Diamond status until March 2024.

Hilton Gold members (who didn’t qualify for Gold again for 2023) have the option of completing one, two or three stays (depending on what version of the offer you recieved) to keep their Hilton Gold status until March 2024.

And finally Hilton Silver members (who didn’t qualify for Silver in 2023) have the option of completing one, two or three stays (depending on what version of the offer you recieved) to keep their Hilton Silver status until March 2024.

Is it worth doing?

If you have the one stay Diamond status offer it is a no brainer. Even if you haven’t any stays planned before the end of March 2023 a cheap stay at a local Hilton will see you keep your status until March 2024. You could easily surpass the price paid for the night in one stay with the value you get from an upgrade and lounge access. Two stays will probably be OK value wise, three has a bigger question mark next to it depending on how often you are going to stay in a Hilton hotel in 2023! Remember the only real difference between Gold/Diamond is lounge access and supposedly better upgrades, both status levels get free breakfast.

If you have the Gold offer you might feel it’s worthwhile doing a one nighter to keep free breakfast and some extra upgrades for free. For two/three stays the valuable is a lot more questionable unless you are going to be spending a lot of time in Hilton hotels in 2023.

Hilton Elite Status Conclusion

This offer gives you a great opportunity to keep Silver/Gold/Diamond status for another year by completing as little as one stay by the 31st of March 2023. If you are a Diamond member it’s a no brainer… as a Gold there is still value to be had albiet a little more questionable and for Silver we wouldn’t bother.
