Up to 50% Off Avios Redemptions With BA!

British Airways has launched a huge up to 50% off Avios redemptions! All long-haul journeys have 50% off the Avios cost & short-haul journeys have 25% off the Avios cost. This applies to all classes… economy, business and first-class redemptions!

How do I get my 50% off Avios Redemptions?

Simply make an Avios booking as normal and the Avios cost will show with either the 50% or 25% off depending on if you are flying long or short-haul.

A few examples…

1) A long-haul return flight in business class to New York would cost 100,000 Avios & £697.03. Under this offer, it would cost just 50,000 Avios & £697.03. A saving of 50,000 Avios

2) A short-haul return flight in business class to Venice would cost 25,500 Avios & £50. Under this offer, it would cost just 19126 Avios + £50.00. A saving of 6,375 Avios

3) A short-haul return flight in economy class to Venice would cost 13,000 Avios & £35. Under this offer, it would cost just 9,750 Avios + £35.00. A saving of 3,250 Avios

• Full ‘taxes and fees’ are due
• The discount is valid on one-way and return flights
• The discount is only valid on BA flights, not with any partner airlines.

What about my BA Amex 2-4-1 Voucher?

It appears you can use this in conjunction with the up to 50% off offer. When we priced up a first-class return for 2 people to New York from London it was just 68,000 Avios + £1,417.64. This is compared to the normal 272,000 Avios + £1,417.64 it would cost. A HUGE saving of 204,000 Avios!

Conclusion

Whilst a fantastic offer (nothing similar has been around for many years) exercise caution when booking. If you don’t want to take the flights you’ve booked you will have to pay £35 per person to cancel or take a Future Travel Voucher which comes with it’s own complications!
